After ten years at Cheney & Company, followed by time off to raise a family, Kristin recently returned to administer the business and Cheney’s historic building, King’s Block. While maintaining and supporting the fiscal well being of Cheney & Company, she also manages our annual Aim High conference, handling all aspects of planning, registration and logistics.
Kristin has made a career of teaming her right-brain talents with her left-brain skills. First and foremost she is an artist, whose jewelry and sculptures connect the essence of the natural environment with the beauty of precious metals and stones. She shows her creations throughout greater New England and maintains a studio in Branford, CT. Kristin has been an active organizer of the very successful Shoreline Arts Trail since 2009.
But her ability to make connections is not limited to the art world. Kristin is equally adept at managing the intricacies of the business and marketing side of creative work, which she has proven as a former CEO, vice president and business manager for small and large companies before joining Cheney & Company (the first time). She continues to advise clients through Riverside Consulting in her “spare time.”
Kristin received her BFA from the School of American Crafts at the Rochester Institute of Technology and lives on the Connecticut coast with her husband and two daughters.
